Inner Work Of Heart

Imagine a community of people working for social and economic justice, peace, nonviolence, and environmental sustainability. Imagine a movement that gives equal priority to the inner work of heart and outer service in the world.

We find that humanity is longing for three things:

1. Tools for personal transformation.
2. A way to serve without selfish motivations.
3. A desire to connect with each other and build deep relationships.

Through the meaningful relationships we build with each other, we will find deep energy to further our own personal transformation and that of our institutions, society and the world.

The exchange of ideas and passion to bring about these changes are both inspirational and key to the change we want to see in the world. It is through action, based on a deep understanding of our interconnectedness, that love and compassion manifests, heals and builds the new relationships of trust and compassion in our social fabric.

Outer service in the world

The JFire World Cafe is a monthly gathering that is open to anyone who believes that creating a better world is possible - a world where all beings are valued equally and where the Earth is revered and protected. At this gathering we will exchange ideas, learn more about our authentic purpose and take action!

Margaret Mead once said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." We can do it!
