At JourneysFire International, our vision is to explore the link between three of humanity's most critical concerns: social justice, environmental sustainability and spiritual fulfillment. As a non-profit social change organization, our mission is to inspire humanity to awaken to a reverence for life through the media, arts and education. Nobel Peace Laureate Albert Schweitzer said, "By having a reverence for life, we enter into a spiritual relation with the world....By practicing reverence for life we become good, deep and alive." Reverence for life means recognizing and honoring the sacredness in all relationships, which includes humanity, other species and the environment. We practice and apply the principles of sacred activism which is the fusion of inner work of heart with outer service in the world.
